Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Howdy, I have a HP Laserjet 1200 purchased back in 2002. It has worked wonderfully ans still does with a good cartridge installed. I purchased a cartridge on line and tried to use it and the printing comes out extremely faint. I have shaken, rolled, tumbled in all aspects of physical movement and still cannot get a good print. Oh yes, I did remove the pull strip!

Are there any other strips, tapes, blocks etc. that need to be removed? It does fit into the machine, it does run, but very poor quality of print. Any ideas???

Thanks,

Bob

Defective cartridge, probably from old stock.
