OMEN by HP 25L Gaming Desktop PC GT15-0000a (4Q9S1AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi,

My OMEN has Processor        AMD Ryzen 5 5600G with Radeon Graphics            3.90 GHz

Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.6 GB usable).

I'm considering upgrading it to 32GB. I've been informed that The HP OMEN 25L supports DDR4 UDIMMs and can handle speeds up to DDR4-2933 . However, I'm curious about the performance impact of using 3200 MHz as it will "downclock" itself.  Does anybody know how many slots OMEN has for the RAM 4 or 2? please?

send me answers to [content removed] please

Your desktop's  motherboard uses Non-ECC memory.

ECC memory is usually used in servers and high end Enterprise grade laptops and desktops.

Thank you very much.

Does it make any difference as non-ec and ec prodiced RAM? What sort is mine, please?

It is quite difficult to find this conversation on the HP web pages, but I will do my best.
