Studio USB
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello, we found the studio usb speaker and mic to be sub-par. we want to disable this, and keep the camera function.

any hidden or special in the configuration file to set this?

Hello @Awhyip ,

welcome to the HP Poly community.

This is a very odd request. I assume, as this is not specified in your post, that you are using a Poly Studio USB and you state Windows 11.

As the operating system can use the Microphone or Speaker you wish to use simply select this in the application you are using.

Best Regards

Hi Steffen,

To provide context,

We are using the Polycom Studio USB in a meeting room; we want to remove as much complexity as possible by not having this device allow to be selected, or defaulted to. We are using the Polycom C60 instead, but we want to keep the Camera function. If it's possible to disable it would really help us out

Hello @Awhyip

I am not aware that this would be a configurable use case and this would require a business case via a Poly reseller.

Best regards

No worries, I have a business case opened with HP Poly officially also. Let's see if it's possible
