I have a Samsung computer and I'm having trouble scanning a paper from my HP OfficeJet Pro 8610.

I've continuously tried to scan from my printer HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 to my Samsung SyncMaster SA450 but it continues to tell me to come here and I don't even know I just need help. Please help me.

There might not be an answer for Operating System = Other

For example,

There is no way to Scan from printer to a monitor:  SA450 Series Business Monitor 

Why?

Monitors do not have Operating Systems -- there is no place on the monitor to send the scan content.

The printer can -- with proper support and installed print drivers -- Scan to Computer --

For example,

Click scan on the printer and send the content to a computer running a supported version of Windows with the full driver printer software installed.  After the software is installed, open the Printer Assistant > Manage Scan to Computer > Enable the feature

Printer - Full Feature Software

HP Full Feature Software / Full Driver printer software - supports printing and scanning from the web, printing in in other software and programs (for example, Word), and provides access to the full range of Printing Preferences / Shortcuts.  The full driver generally adds at one, possibly least one, possibly two shortcuts to the Desktop: Printer Assistant, HP Scan Assistant, and/or HP Scan.

NOTES:  

HP Scan is not installed if the printer does not support Scan.

The Printer Assistant is not installed if the type of full driver software does not support it.  If the printer model includes built-in Fax hardware, the software supports the setup and use of the Fax driver. No Sign-in required.

If / When asked, opt for the Full Driver / Full Software to be installed.

After the software is installed, Restart the computer and sign in.
