I have a M608 that has a squeaking noise when it spins up to print.  The printer has approx 190k prints and so I changed the Maintenance kit.  Same issue.  The sound is a high pitched squeaking from an assembly that runs two speeds.  In other words, the printer begins the warm up two seconds, then begins the squeaking at one speed and then the squeaking speeds up, paper pops out, printer squeaks for another second and then stops,  then the fans spin down two seconds later.

I did not try changing the toner cartridge.  If I am standing at the rear of the machine, the squeak sounds like it is coming from the upper right side of the printer.

Any and all help is appreciated.

Mike

What is the supply level of the toner cartridge. Not uncommon when cartridge when they get low.
