HP published a newer driver. It claims to fix the issue with slow network refresh after resume. Interestingly enough, the packaged driver version is still 6001.0.10.344.

i to had problems with wifi, especially my repeater. turned out it was not the repeater but that damned driver
i first installed V329 through SP135488.exe but somehow this does not install/replace the driver.
i manually replaced it and things started working
today i installed V344 (did not run the exe but used the update driver, browse for files option)
this improved things a lot. Signal now is maximum and also has better bandwidth.
really strange but after i updated the wifidriver and did a reboot it also did a bios update.
i discovered that the hp support assistant was active, downloaded the latest bios and installed it.
since i do not want this to happen again i disabled the update function.
if it aint broke, don't fix it

Just writing to provide another example of unstable wifi issue: HP Aero 13 with the same network card = disconnecting even more than once per minute, less than half a meter from the router. 🙂 It's somewhat pathetic, that such essential issue continues so long... Never mind. Tried the latest found driver 6001.10.348.0, but as other users said previously, it looks 6001.0.10.304 from 2020 provided by Barn_wtk is the best so far.

The newer driver keeps the wifi icon diplaying full bars but I am not sure it is any better at actually maintaining a connection to a nearby router. For me the connection goes in and out every few minutes, despite what the wifi icon shows.

Unfortunately, the latest driver version 6001.10.349.0 (sp140207.exe) still does not solve the problems:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp140001-140500/sp140207.exe
It is interesting to note that there are similar problems on Linux where the driver seems to have been fixed (but this is not simple)

Hello,
Unfortunately, the latest driver version 6001.10.349.0 still does not solve the problems. But we think that this problem is related to AX connection type. We change 2.4 Ghz settings 802.11 a/b/g/n/ax to 802.11 a/b/g/n and 5 GHz settings ax to ac. Connection working properly with these settings. We are waiting the driver update.
PS : Have you already opened a case for this problem to HP side ?
Regards,
US
