Welcome to the HP Forum.

 

It would be good if you provide your HP PC's specific Product Number.

 

Have you done any memory troubleshooting to isolate which stick of memory is not detected by the MB? Try each stick of memory, one at a time, in each memory slot. Start the PC at each iteration to see: if the memory is detected and you get a successful POST.

 

This could be a memory problem or a memory channel problem.

 

Did you add a new stick of retail memory (non-HP)?  Is this problem recent?

 

Some AMD MBs will reserve large portions of system memory for video even if you have a discrete graphics card installed in the PCIe x16 slot. OEMs such as HP, Dell, and others don't provide AMD MB BIOS settings to change this behavior.

 

Too many unknowns at this time.
