HP Pavilion All-in-One - 24-r014
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I put my computer on sleep mode, the displays starts turning on within minutes and stays on.  I have had this issues for months.  I have looked for help online and have tried everything they have suggested but the display still turns on unexpectedly during sleep mode.  I cannot stand this anymore.  I want the computer to be asleep until I click the keyboard or the mouse. Help please.

We keep seeing more and more of these posts, so there looks like there is a generic SLEEP issue with some HP PCs -- and the only "solution" I have seen that works is disabling SLEEP and forcing the PC to actually power down when you shut it off.

Yeah, that then takes longer to start up, but the newer PCs all use SSDs and we are talking about a few seconds, not several minutes, of wait time -- unlike the older PCs.
