i OWN AN Obihai 202 VOIP adapter and I just found out that HP has acquired the company from Poly.  It appears that HP is planning to end support for the Obihai modules sometime soon and I am quite concerned about whether my device will continue to function.  I depend on the Obi202 for my home phone service and I am very concerned about whether there will be some form of support for it.  I urge HP to give consideration to continuing some form of support for these devices in perpetuity since there were many sold and probably still in use.  The ObiTalk sever needs to be maintained since that it the only way users have to control their devices.

welcome to the HP Poly community. As the name states this is just a community for volunteers and not a replacement for the official HP Support Infrastructure.

 

In December 2021, before HP acquired Poly, ObiHai announced the End of Life for the Obi202 >here<

 

The above End-of-life announcements explain everything and I suggest you work with whoever provides the service to your Obi 202 on what the continued path for their support would be.

Does anyone know whether or not there is any software available for provisioning an Obihai device?  I have found reference to a technical document for provisioning an Obi but it seems too complex for most users to be able to follow.  Additionally, there doesn't seem to be an easy way to log in to the stated User Interface without first enabling the UI.  So far, I have not had any success in using the Phone interface to enable the web based UI with any instructions that have been provided at online sources.
