Example: M479 FDW
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I brought a brand new M479 to Europe from the USA thinking the printer like others would work on either 110 or 220v In the specs it says 110 or 220v but HP  literally means one OR the OTHER not both!!  I plugged it in when I got to Portugal and smoked it. I have two sets of 414 cartridges from the USA. I purchased a new M479 here it would be nice to use the $800 worth of toner I bought. Can I use the 414 cartridges in the Europe unit that came with 415 cartridges in it? What if I take the chip off the 415s when they are empty and put them on the 414 cartridges?
