Voyager 4310 M UC USB-A
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a Poly VVX 250 desktop phone and I just got a Voyager 4310 headset.

If I plug the headset's USB dongle into the USB port on the phone, when the phone rings I hear an "incoming call" alert, and if I press the button on the headset, it says, "answering call," but then it doesn't actually answer the call.

I can answer the call by pressing the headphone button on the desktop phone, or by clicking on the alert from the Nextiva app running on my desktop computer, but I can't answer the call from the headset. I would really like to be able to answer the phone even if I'm not right at my desk.

I also tried plugging the dongle into a USB port on my computer, but then I didn't even get the "answering call" message, much less be able to answer the phone by pressing the button on the headset.

Hello,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Please follow the troubleshooting steps:

  • Try re-pairing the headset and BT adapter.
  • Set the headset as a default audio device under PC sound settings.
  • Ensure that only one softphone application is opened at a time.
  • Set the targeted softphone under Poly Lens application.
  • Try connecting the headset using native Bluetooth.
  • Ensure your headset firmware is up-to-date.

If the issues still persist, I would request you contact our HP Support and our Support Engineers should be able to sort this out. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link.
