I have a couple of VVX500s connected to the Teams SIP Gateway - and it works.  It's a great way to repurpose an older, but perfectly functional phone, for pure dial tone needs when most staff are using Teams on their laptops.

The unit on my desk is running 5.9.7.3480.  From within the phone, I have attempted to update it to 5.9.8.5760 twice, but after downloading and applying the update, it is still running 5.9.7.3480.

But that's not the main question.

The main question is that I'd like to see the device in Poly Lens.  It appears that the traditional method of getting a code from the cloud section of VVX web interface is not an option.  Thus, one would have to use provisioning information from Poly Lens to apply to the VVX.  But wait - there's already information in there - from Microsoft Teams.  I'm assuming that editing that info would lose its connection to Teams - so I don't mess with it.

Thus, my question is - can you get a Teams SIP connected VVX into Lens at the same time?

Thanks.

Hello @Adam_In_DC2 ,

welcome back to the HP Poly community.

You have posted in an incorrect section and I have moved your post to the UC Section as this is about Microsoft SIP Gateway.

I had a FAQ article about the SIP gateway but since the move to HP, it is no longer there. I do not know when I would find the time to try and re-create this at present either.

A FAQ article in the general VoIP section covers Lens and Lens that can be utilized to onboard Poly-compatible SIP phones via Lens to the Microsoft SIP Gateway. The provisioning server would be Poly Lens and Microsoft, once onboarded, would move these phones to their server.

Oct 7, 2011 Question: How can I set up my Phone / Provisioning / Download / Upgrade / Update / Downgrade Software?
Resolution: Please check => here <= and you need Poly Lens now to get access to Poly Software.

Other volunteers may reply but if you need urgent help please work with our support organization in your region. Details on how to contact us are in my signature

Best Regards
