I've got a sprocket 200, the device will not show up on the app to connect. I have done everything suggested. such as reset and factory reset and also my phone settings are correct. Unsure what to do next.

Hi @SarahAshleigh,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you've tried resetting both the HP Sprocket device and your phone, and have verified that your phone settings are correct, there are a few other troubleshooting steps you can try.

  • Update Firmware: Ensure that your HP Sprocket device has the latest firmware installed. Sometimes, firmware updates can resolve connectivity issues.
  • Forget and Re-pair Bluetooth: On your phone, forget the HP Sprocket device from your Bluetooth settings and then try to re-pair it again.
  • Check Battery Level: Make sure that your HP Sprocket device has sufficient battery charge. Low battery levels can sometimes affect connectivity.
  • Close Background Apps: Close all other apps running in the background on your phone, as they might interfere with the Bluetooth connection.
  • Restart Devices: Restart both your HP Sprocket device and your phone. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues.
  • Check Compatibility: Ensure that your phone is compatible with the HP Sprocket device. Sometimes, compatibility issues can arise due to differences in Bluetooth versions or other technical specifications.

If you're still unable to connect your HP Sprocket device after trying these steps, it's possible that there may be a hardware issue with either the device or your phone's Bluetooth hardware.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
