Hi @Allen993,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Envy 4500 printer is stuck at the scan alignment page message, there are several steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Restart the Printer: Sometimes a simple restart can resolve many issues. Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a few minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on again.

Check for Paper Jams: Make sure there are no paper jams or obstructions in the printer that could be causing the issue.

Check Ink Cartridges: Ensure that the ink cartridges are properly installed and have enough ink. Sometimes alignment issues can occur if the ink cartridges are not properly seated or are low on ink.

Clean the Scanner Glass: Dust or smudges on the scanner glass can interfere with the scanning process. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the scanner glass thoroughly.

Reset the Printer: Try resetting the printer to its default settings. You can usually do this through the printer's menu or by pressing a specific combination of buttons on the printer.

Update Firmware/Software: Make sure your printer's firmware and software are up to date. You can usually download updates from the manufacturer's website.

Reinstall Printer Drivers: Sometimes corrupted printer drivers can cause scanning issues. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the printer drivers on your computer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
