HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M283cdw
Microsoft Windows 11

I bought a new HP printer back about six weeks ago.. A HP color laserjet pro MFP M283CDW.  The first unit was defective out of the box.  I returned it to CostCo and they exchanged it for another unit.  The SECOND unit was DEFECTIVE right out of the box.  I went back and Costco exchanged the second unit for a third unit.  The third unit was a bit fussy to get working, but it worked OK for several weeks.  Then it got really "fussy" about printing new pages.  It seemed to quickly turn itself OFF after printing.  Several calls to HP Printer support would get it working for short periods.  (It would have helped if I spoke the foreign language of the Tech Support people!)  In any case, NOW i CANNOT GET THE THIRD HP PRINTER MODEL ,, MFP283CDW TO PRINT ANYTHING.  May I suggest that HP needs to see WHY this model printer has such ongoing problems.  I would never consider another HP printer.

First and most common cause: Failure to supply proper power. MUST be plugged directly into the wall and on a circuit with absolutely no other high draw devices. UPS units and Surge protectors and extension cords will all restrict the power going to the printer and cause issues.
