Hi @Juhend1,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your HP Envy 4502 printer might have some issues with paper feed and possibly internal components. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the problem.

  • Check for paper jams: Open the printer cover and check for any paper jams or obstructions in the paper path. Remove any jammed paper carefully.
  • Clean the paper feed rollers: Dust and debris on the paper feed rollers can cause feeding problems. Use a clean, lint-free cloth lightly moistened with water to wipe the rollers clean. Make sure they are dry before reinserting paper.
  • Use the correct paper: Ensure you are using the correct type and size of paper for your printer. Improper paper can cause feeding issues.
  • Reset the printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for a few minutes. Then, plug it back in and turn it on. Sometimes, a reset can resolve minor issues.
  • Update printer drivers: Make sure you have the latest printer drivers installed on your computer. Sometimes, outdated drivers can cause printing problems.
  • Check for hardware issues: If the problem persists after trying the above steps, there might be a hardware issue with the printer.

If the printer is making a horrible noise, it could indicate a mechanical issue such as a gear problem or a faulty motor. In such cases, it's important not to force the printer to continue operating, as it could cause further damage.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
