Microsoft Windows 11

When I turn on the printer, it prints page after page of the same thing until the paper tray runs out of paper.  The page that it prints isn't anything that I sent to the printer.  Instead, it prints the following....

  Content - Length: 179

  Content - Type:  application/ipp

  Host:  localhost

  •       9937G:attributes-charset:utf-8Httributes-natural-language:enEprinter-uriLipp:/

I've tried using the HP diagnostic -- no help.  And I've tried unplugging and re-plugging the power cord.  Again, no help.

Any help much appreciated.  Thanks,  Bill

No, I've not tried that.  As I'm away from home right now (in the library in town), I'll try that tomorrow morning.

Thanks so much for your suggestion.  Much appreciated,

Thanks so much for your quick reply to my issue.  I tried your "solution" but, unfortunately" it didn't solve my problem.

Much appreciated,

Have you tried deleting the drivers and then reinstalling making sure that the driver installed is an HP driver and not a Microsoft IPP driver or class driver.

Yes, that solved the problem.  Re-installing the driver did the trick.

Thanks so much for your help.  I really appreciate it.
