My 8610 All in one is giving me a 0xc19a0013 printhead error code. It was working fine a week ago. Any ideas where to start looking?

Hi @Paul2631,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The 0xc19a0013 error on an HP Officejet Pro 8610 typically indicates an issue with the printhead or ink system. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot.

  • Restart the Printer: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary errors. Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a few minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on.
  • Check Ink Levels: Ensure that all ink cartridges have sufficient ink. Replace any empty or low cartridges.
  • Clean Printhead Contacts: Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source. Open the printhead access door and remove the printhead. Clean the electrical contacts on the printhead and inside the printer using a lint-free cloth lightly moistened with distilled water. Be gentle to avoid damaging the contacts.
  • Reset the Printer: Resetting the printer to its factory settings might help. To do this, press the "Back" button 4 times quickly to access the Support Menu. Then select "Reset Menu" and follow the prompts to reset the printer.
  • Update Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve software-related issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
