I often see posts regarding a lack of exact colour match between an image on a monitor and the printed image. Colour matching is not as simple as you might assume as there are a lot of variables that will affect how images look when printed. I will add links to this document as I find them but found a good link that does a good job and should provide a reader with an elementary understanding of color matching, the challenges and settings  you can try. For critical colour match the only real solution is to invest in hardware and software tht will develop a custom color profile that matches your printer to your screen.
