Hi @irvinelectric,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Dealing with offline printer issues can be frustrating, but there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem.

  • Check Printer Connection: Ensure that the printer is properly connected to the network. You can do this by accessing the printer settings on its control panel or through the printer's web interface. Make sure the network settings are configured correctly and that the printer is connected to the same network as your computer.
  • Restart Printer: Sometimes, simply restarting the printer can resolve offline issues. Turn off the printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on. Allow the printer to initialize and reconnect to the network.
  • Update Printer Firmware: Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware installed. HP often releases updates to fix bugs and improve performance. Check the HP website for firmware updates and follow the instructions to install them.
  • Check Printer Status on Computer: On your computer, check the printer status in the devices and printers settings. If it shows as offline, you can try setting it online from there. Right-click on the printer icon and select "Use Printer Online" (the exact option may vary depending on your operating system).
  • Restart Router: If multiple devices on your network are experiencing connectivity issues, it might be a problem with your router. Try restarting your router and see if that resolves the issue.

Regarding the file formats supported by HP ePrint, typically it supports common file formats such as PDF, JPEG, PNG, Microsoft Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, and text files. However, it's always a good idea to double-check the specific supported file formats on the HP website or user manual for your printer model, as it can vary slightly between different models and firmware versions.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
