HP OfficeJet Pro 9020 All-in-One Printer

'Restore network settings' option is locked. However, I need to restore network settings to get both desktop and printer onto the same Wifi network. How do I fix?

Hi @NickBettington,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If the "Restore network settings" option is locked on your HP OfficeJet Pro 9020 printer, you might need to perform a factory reset to unlock it. Here's how you can do it:

Turn off the printer: Press the power button to turn off the printer.

Press and hold buttons: Simultaneously press and hold the Wireless and Resume buttons for 5 seconds. The Wireless button usually has a wireless icon on it, and the Resume button is typically represented by a down arrow.

Restore network settings: After 5 seconds, release both buttons. The printer will reset to its factory default settings, including the network settings.

Set up network: Once the printer restarts, follow the initial setup process to connect it to your Wi-Fi network. You might need to enter your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password during this process.

Reconfigure printer on desktop: After the printer is connected to the Wi-Fi network, you may need to reconfigure the printer on your desktop to use the same network. You can usually do this through the printer settings on your computer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
