Hi @smith30419,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you've forgotten the printer PIN for your HP Envy 6000 printer, you may need to perform a factory reset to restore it to its default settings. Here's how you can do it.

  1. Turn on the printer if it is not already on.
  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
  3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  4. Wait for at least 60 seconds.
  5. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
  6. Turn on the printer if it does not automatically turn on.
  7. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
  8. Press and hold the Power button on the printer control panel for about 5 seconds and then release it.

This should perform a factory reset on your printer, and the PIN should revert to the default setting.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
