HP Color Laser Jet CM1312nfi MFP and Windows 11

Hello, I'm the satisfied owner of a HP Color Laser Jet CM1312nfi MFP and I stocked up on toner HP 125A (about 10 toner unused boxes stored here).  Unfortunately, I cannot get it to print in color (at best, black and white printing, at worste no printing at all).  Could it be since I moved up to Windows 11 ?  This printer is not recent (2008) but worked great in the past.  Could you tell me if it is compatible with Windows 11 or if you have a way of helping me out ?  (I've tried HP Print and Scan Doctor, and other programs that have not improved the situation).  If not, I could dispose of my printer but would like to buy a new laser printer by HP that uses the same toner.  Which models should I be looking for ?  Many thanks for your advice.

That model is too old to be supported in W11 https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_4839960-4840167-16 

You will not be able to find a new printer that can use the same toner cartridges because they are no longer produced for more than 10 years.

Thank you for that information, helpful but it contradicts what I read on https://printerdrivers.com/hp-color-laserjet-cm1312nfi-mfp-driver/ where a compatibility with Windows 11 and 10 is mentioned...  What a waste, having to throw out all my stock of toner cartridges.  Is there really no turnaround solution to get this great printer to print in color under Windows 11 ?

Could the solution to my problem be to revert to Windows 10 ?  Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

Try HP Universal Printing PCL 6 Drivers it'll work.
