Hi - I am streaming voice-only audio to my Poly Voyager Focus headset, and I am experiencing random (but repeatable) issues with audio dropouts.

 

I am trying to play language learning lessons through the headset, and the audio consistently drops out at very specific (but seemingly random) points in the language lesson. The dropouts occur at the same spots regardless of whether I am using the BT700 USB dongle for my connection, a direct Bluetooth connection, or a wired USB connection. I do not have any dropouts when I use my computer speakers for playback.

 

What can I do to fix this?

I am sorry to hear that you are facing this issue with the Poly Voyager Focus UC.

Could you please follow a few troubleshooting steps mentioned below and let us know if the issue persists?
1. Could you please try a headset with a different mobile phone or a PC?
2. Could you please restore the headset settings to default on the Poly Lens application by connecting the headset to the PC? Once done, please switch off and switch on the headset again to save the changes made.
3. Could you please try connecting the BT700 to a different PC?
4. Could you please set the headset as the default in the sound settings of the PC?
5. Could you please check for firmware updates and update them in the Poly Lens application?
