HP Recommended

I have a HP laptop 15-dy0013dx.  I have difficulty setting up e-mail.  I also have difficulty with speed of computer.  I am not sure if these problems stem from HP computer or my provider.  I am checking here first and if it is the provider, I can contact them.  Could I take the computer back to the store to get help setting up the e-mail?  Thank you.

Sometimes when you first set up a new computer it can run a bit slow due to system updates. See Computer Is Slow When Used for the First Time (Windows 10) for more information.

 

What email provider are you trying to use? I found a very clear step-by-step instruction for setting up a gmail account here: https://edu.gcfglobal.org/en/gmail/setting-up-a-gmail-account/1/
