Hello Everyone,

 

Can anyone please confirm the name of the company of RAM originally provided in HP ENVY 15-k020us Notebook PC?

I have gone through its upgrade and it seems the original RAM has been removed therefore request your help.

Hi:

 

Unfortunately, that would be impossible because HP uses memory from several manufacturers, and they use what they have on hand at the time.

 

They use memory from Samsung, Micron, Hynix, Kingston...

 

There's a part number but that part number could be assigned to any of the above brand memory chips they would have used.

693374-005
8GB, 1600MHz, PC3L-12800, DDR3 small outline dual in-line memory module (SODIMM)
