Sorry, as I am having difficulty understanding your issue.
You're asking how to "boost" the laptop -- but my guess is you are really wanting to "boot" the laptop, right?
And you mention a "post" error. Does this mean Power On Self Test error? If, so, you need to tell us the specific error you are seeing, not just that there is one.
