Hi @Joe750,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP printer is not connecting to your Wi-Fi network, there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue.

  • Check Wi-Fi Connection: Ensure that your Wi-Fi network is functioning properly and that other devices can connect to it without any issues.
  • Printer Placement: Make sure your printer is within range of your Wi-Fi router. If it's too far away, it may have trouble connecting.
  • Restart Printer and Router: Sometimes, a simple restart can fix connectivity issues. Turn off your printer and Wi-Fi router, wait a few seconds, and then turn them back on.
  • Update Printer Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your HP printer. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve connectivity issues.
  • Reset Network Settings: On your HP printer, navigate to the network settings menu and perform a network reset. This will erase any existing network settings and allow you to set up the connection again from scratch.
  • Check Wi-Fi Settings: Double-check that you are entering the correct Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password on your printer.
  • Disable Firewall/Antivirus: Sometimes, firewall or antivirus software on your computer may block the printer from connecting to your Wi-Fi network. Temporarily disable these programs and see if the printer can connect.
  • Connect via WPS: If your router supports it, you can try connecting your printer to the Wi-Fi network using the Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) method. This usually involves pressing a WPS button on your router and then on your printer to establish a connection.

By following these steps, you should be able to troubleshoot and resolve the Wi-Fi connectivity issue with your HP printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
