Hi @Sully251,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Printer will only work with 2.4 GHZ frequency. Please make sure the network has dual frequncy.

It sounds like your printer might be having trouble connecting to your network properly. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

Restart Your Printer: Sometimes a simple restart can fix connectivity issues. Turn off your printer, wait for a few minutes, and then turn it back on.

Check Network Connection: Ensure that your printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network. If your modem recently changed to 5G, make sure your printer is connected to the correct network name (SSID) and password.

Reset Network Settings: If you're still having trouble, you can try resetting the network settings on your printer. This will usually involve navigating through the printer's menu to find the network settings option and selecting "reset" or "restore default settings."

Update Printer Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Sometimes, updating the firmware can resolve connectivity issues and improve performance.

Check Printer Settings: Make sure that your printer settings are configured correctly. Check if there are any settings related to network or connectivity that need to be adjusted.

Disable Bluetooth: If your printer is connected via Bluetooth and you're not using it, you might want to disable Bluetooth temporarily to see if it's interfering with the Wi-Fi connection.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
