Studio X30

Hello, I have recently sent out a configured X30 and TC8 in Teams mode, which I configured on my own switches. Both devices paired correctly and are working in Teams mode on version 4.1.4.402003. 

Now that they've been connected at the remote site, I can see both devices have checked into the Teams admin center and they have an IP address in the same subnet on their Ubiquiti switch pro PoE 8, however they will not automatically pair. 

They've been rebooted several times and no luck. I am not familiar with Ubiquiti, has anyone else seen this issue?

When you state pair, do you mean on a Poly OS level aka Multicast traffic or on a Microsoft Teams level aka Internet access?

At the Poly OS level aka Multicast traffic. Both the X30 and TC8 have Internet access and have registered to the TAC when in Teams mode. 

 

I can't imagine that there would be anything blocking ot Multicast when in a single L2 domain, however I am not familiar with this particular switch and its secuurity policies.

Issue resolved, however some odd behavior when in Teams mode. 

 

The WebUI showed that the tablet was paired with the X30, however this wasn't what was shown in Teams Admin Center. 

 

There must have been something cached within the Teams setup, from when I originally setup the devices in my environment and shipped to the remote site. 

I removed from Teams to Poly and then back into Teams again and setup the devices and the issue was gone.
