Hello. I have no power to my PO20 poly tablet but I do have power when another lan cable is used, I have also used a gigabit network expansion switch but everything works except this tablet, no power at all except from the incoming lan. Please can anyone offer me some help? Scott

Hello @Scott12399

welcome to the Poly community.

What is a PO20 poly tablet? What does this have to do with the Studio X50 as this needs a power supply and does not support PoE. Is this about the Studio X or the TC8/TC10 device which supports PoE/

Please provide more data and clarify what your issue is. Also, provide details if this is a brand new unit or some used device. It may be better to contact our support organisation directly as we are all just volunteers here.

Best regards

Thanks for the reply Steffen. The PO20 is on the back of the tablet and the x50 is on the back of the video bar. The issue I have is that I can only have power for the PO20 with a cable from my server room and as I only have one Lan cable I bought a switch with five ports but this will not power the PO20 so I'm really confused. I need a Lan for the video bar so hence I bought the 5 way splitter. Any help with be much appreciated.

Hello @Scott12399 ,

I still have no idea what a PO20 is and what is has to do with a Studio X or a TC8 or TC10 Touch controller.

The TC8 or TC10 Touch controller uses an industry standard called PoE. PoE can come in the form of a PoE switch or a PoE adapter which Poly also sells.

The Studio X uses a normal Ethernet connection without PoE and is powered via a power block that comes with the unit.

if you struggle, and no other volunteer replies I suggest you contact a Poly reseller in the UK or our Support organization in your region. Details are in my Signature.

Best Regards
