Hello,

When a new user in connecting via RGS for the first time to a domain run with Samba they cannot authenticate when the option "Must change on next login" is set for their password. With the option turned off they are able to authenticate. This behavior used not happen but has started occurring in recent months.

Has anyone else ecountered this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We have a similar setup with Samba AD and migrated to a new domain within the last few weeks, so everyone had to do a first time login with password change. There weren't any issues doing that using ZCentral version 20.4.0.8886.

Are you using RGS or Remote Boost?  If Remote Boost are you using V20.4.1.?

Yes, we are using "20.4.1". Please note one of my colleagues has been in touch with you via a ticket and you have mentioned making a patch available to fix this. Regardless, might be beneficial to post the details here in case anyone else encounters this issue.
