Product: HP Spectre x360 Convertible Laptop PC 14t-ea000 CTO

This piece of garbage has a keyboard and mouse that intermittently stop working, forcing me to type on my screen. HP has been less than no help. Any ideas? 

It happens mid-word, no waring, no message

Sometimes it goes a month without happening, sometimes 3x per day

Sometimes a restart helps, often not

Sometimes mis-word, the keyboard and mouse return for no reason

This monstrosity is a waste of time.
