Microsoft Windows 11

Hp Laptop 15 -dy2xxx is my laptop's model. Does it have M.2 slot? (Other Specs: 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1165G7 @ 2.80GHz 2.70 GHz) It came with Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11ac PCIe Adapter which I dislike (wifi5).

I'm looking to replace with Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200: This adapter supports speeds up to 2.4 Gbps and features 2x2 MU-MIMO technology. And according to my research need a M2 slot, BIOS and antenna compatibility.

Your notebook does have a M.2 slot that supports NVMe SSDs.

Your notebook only has one antenna wire and the Intel AX200 would need two wires in order to work properly so, it would take a considerable amount of disassembly to install a second antenna wire.

However, if you want to do that, you can see if you can order the antenna kit listed in chapter 3 of your notebook's service manual:

HP Laptop PC 15-dy2000 - Setup and User Guides | HP® Support

Make sure you order this Wi-Fi adapter part number:

Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 ax 2×2 + Bluetooth 5.0 MU-MIMO M.2 2230 non-vPro   HP part # L35282-005.
