My old keyboard has several keys that do not work. I have the wireless USB that works my keyboard and mouse together.  I bought another keyboard.  Is there any way to use the new keyboard, which is the exact same kind as the old one,  with the wireless USB I have now that will work with existing mouse?

That is extremely unlikely.

The HP USB dongle for the HP mouse and keyboard combo is programmed at the factory as part of the assembly process.

The HP dongle has an unique wireless key.

A a unifying universal WIFI dongle may be what you need. Some of them are seriously cheap so it is probably worth a shot.

It would have helped if you had identified the keyboard and mouse with the HP product number that is on the bottom of each device.
