Am I able to replace the hard drive that came with it with an SSD HD?

It appears to be a regular SATA hard drive.  They make a SATA SSD that can replace it but you will need an adapter to mount it.

From what I could find, the drive is a 2 TB 7200 rpm SATA.  If you wish a SSD of that size, here are some:

You may notice that a smaller size is not as expensive, but that is at your decision  You will need an adapter to mount it

I'm not an HP employee.
