Hey guys.

I wanna upgrade an old pc box i have.

Pavilion 500-509c

This is the pc.

Its got a NVIDIA GeForce GT 705. And a 8 gig stick of ram. I play some games on it and wanna know if i can add or upgrade anything on it.

Your HP Pavilion 500-509c Desktop PC (K5G75AA) as fitted with a Memphis2-S motherboard (SSID: 2B2C), which, incidentally, you can upgrade (for best gaming performance) to the famed "Devil's Canyon" processor, an i7-4790K, or the next step down, an i7-4790.

According to HP PartSurfer, your desktop is fitted with an ATX 180-watt power supply.

What I would recommend is to upgrade your power supply and your graphics card. If you have a dollar amount in mind (in other words, what is your upgrade budget), let me know, and I can suggest the most affordable upgrade options for you.

Also, I would strongly recommend adding an (identical) 8GB RAM stick. If you don't know what it is, let me know, and if you looked at it and do know the brand and part number, please provide.
