CCX 500-M

We are testing the CCX 500 (software ver: 8.1.6.1006) and 600 phones for use with CUCM 14.  We have mostly got them to work with CUCM 14 and CUC 14.  However, the last sticking point is the Corporate Directory.  Has anyone had any success with this configuration?

I know that Poly phones can use LDAP to connect to a server, I guess like an Active Directory server, that can provide directory services for the phone.  But CUCM provides our Corporate Directory service accessed by URL to an xml file.  This file is updated daily from our AD using LDAP.

Therefore, is it possible to configure the CCX 500 phone to use the same URL as the Cisco phones do?

Thank you for the info.

I have a few questions.

1. Our AD dows secure LDAP.  What is the commads for secure LDAP?

2. How do you send SIP NOTIFY messages to the phones?

Hello @jmpenney

the admin guide matching the Phone version should be consulted in regards of all the possible parameters.

A quick community search around ldaps shows this >post<

Please use the community search or any search engine as we are all just volunteers. If this fails the next step is a Service Ticket as outlined in my signature.

In regards of sending SIP Info messages your SIP server needs to do this.

Best Regards
