Plantronics Savi 8200
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi:

I have a Plantronics Savi 8200 that was working fine then "all of a sudden" started to give lots of noise/feedback when using w/my Windows 10 laptop, as if some issue w/the mic.  If I just listen to audio, like a YouTube video, no issue.  Happens only when also using the mic, like a Teams or Zoom call.  Also, if I use it with my desk phone the issue does not happen.

Any ideas how to fix?

Thank you!

Hello, @abmtgman, and welcome to the HP Poly community.

I am sorry to hear that you are facing this issue with the Poly Savi 8200.

Could you please confirm if the Savi unit is an office or a UC version so that I could assist you better?

Meghana

Hi @Meghana_10:

How do I determine whether it's an office or UC version?

Thank you,
Bob

Can you please check if the headset came with a small USB adapter? if it is, then it is the UC version. @Tropolis_Group

Hi Meghana:

It's a Polycom but note the headset works fine when used with the phone.  The issue occurs only when used with the laptop.

Thank you,
Bob

Poly Office headset models are compatible with desk phones; hence, try pairing the headset with a mobile phone and check if the issue persists. @Tropolis_Group
