my headset keeps on beeping (2 short beeps, every ~10 seconds) while connected to my laptop. 

 

Tried to reset; charged to 100%; tried adjust volume...

Hello, @tstparis, and welcome to the HP Poly community.

I am sorry to hear that you are facing this issue with the Poly Voyager 5200.

Could you please follow a few troubleshooting steps mentioned below and let us know if the issue persists?

1. Could you please try it with a different mobile phone or a PC?
2. Could you please connect the headset to the PC and check for any firmware updates and update them if there are any?
3. Could you please restore the headset settings to default on the Poly Lens application by connecting the headset to the PC? Once done, please switch off and switch on the headset again to save the changes made. 
4. Could you please confirm if the provided USB dongle is connected to the PC?

It works fine with my phone.

 

I updated to the latest FW, it didn't help.

 

I restored to default setting, it didn't help.

 

What dongle you are referring to? (I used a cable when checking the FW / reset the device. Is there something else?).

I think i solved it.

 

I reinstalled 'Teams' to a newer version. The beeping disappeared.

 

Something you can take to MS?

I don't have Teams installed and I'm still getting the 2 beeps every 10 sec.

I have updated the firmware, repaired the headset to the BT600, reset the device via the mobile app and reconnected to the computer.

I do not use this on the mobile phone.
