Hello,

I am having strange issues with the PLT Focus headset where no audio gets through the headset and I have to switch to internal computer audio (which doesn't work in a shared work environment).  I am using the USB dongle (as that is the recommended method to use instead of using bluetooth).  I still get failures where this happens.  Plugging in the doggle does nothing during the call.

 

The only solution is to reboot the laptop (Dell windows) which of course is impractical during a call (and really disrupts a meeting).  How can I recover when audio fails during a zoom, slack, teams call? (without rebooting the machine).

I am sorry to hear that you are facing this issue with the Poly Voyager Focus UC.

Could you please follow a few troubleshooting steps mentioned below and let us know if the issue persists?


1. Could you please try the headset with a different mobile phone or a PC?
2. Could you please restore the headset settings to default on the Poly Lens application by connecting the headset to the PC? Once done, please switch off and switch on the headset again to save the changes made.
3. Could you please try connecting the BT700 to a different PC?
