I have a HP Pavillion 14-ce0524 Win 11 for personal use and a HP Probook 640 G8 Notebook Win 10 for work. I have a HP G5 Dock station however it does not work with the HP Pavillion laptop. Now this is due to the USBC not being in the correct format. I had a previous Dell docking station, that enabled both laptops to have full functionality with both monitors albeit the HP pavillion had to be plugged in through a USB connection.

I cannot seem to replicate this with the HP G5 Dock at all on the Pavillion using the USB port. I have tried updating the drivers for both laptop and G5 hub.

Is there any way that the G5 Dock will support both these laptop's?

If not is there another HP hub that will support both of these laptops to work on the dual screens? This is to enable me to switch between both work and personal set ups.

I have searched high and low to no avail - but it previously worked with the old Dell hub which unfortunately broke. Any help or advice greatly appreciated!
